DESCRIPTION
Keaton TheraSpecs are a fun and stylish frame perfect for those who also want to show off a little bit of personality. And with therapeutic lenses and a rounded, lightweight frame, Keaton still offers great protection against blue light. Keaton is an acetate frame with a saddle bridge, acrylic lenses, and superior spring hinges—ensuring a comfortable fit and maximum adjustability. Indoor TheraSpecs are great for wearing near artificial light, such as fluorescents and LEDs, and while working on a computer. Some people also like wearing them outdoors on overcast days. Outdoor TheraSpecs are darker, polarized and offer protection for bright sunlight. All TheraSpecs are 100% UVA/UVB (UV400) blocking and use the FL-41 tint. Keaton TheraSpecs come with a microfiber carrying bag.

I have sensory issues and light can be a huge problem for me. These glasses help a lot, I am now wearing these every day at work because of how bright it is ( I work in a Starbucks). I also own a pair of cheaper (20$) FL-41 glasses and they work about the same, positives though with these Thera specs are that they seem to work a little better and they look very good so I'm happy I spent the money.NOT A GIMMICK! I have been thinking about this review for weeks now and today after yet another person complimented me on my "cool" glasses I feel compelled to share my experience. I have been a migraine sufferer since my early thirties. They have become progressively worse over the years and light has become nearly intolerable. I am a sunshine, outdoors, kind of gal and this has been very difficult to take. I also work with screens, lots of intense pressure and long all day meetings in rooms full of glare. I knew that light was a trigger obviously but until I got the glasses and used them for over a month I didn't realize HOW much light contributed to my pain. I can honestly tell you that I have been without a severe headache for over a month. I have begun wearing them almost all the time which was weird for me at first but I've gotten over it. Better to be pain free and on my game then worry people think I'm trying to look cool:)One more quick thing, i was at an outdoor wedding last weekend and left my glasses in the car. It was overcast and I thought I would be OK. I immediately started getting the telltale signs that I would be down for the rest of the night. As soon as the ceremony was over my husband sprinted to the car and brought me the glasses. Within 20 minutes I was feeling almost normal and actually had a glass of wine which is remarkable.I can't promise these will be a miracle for you but if light sensitivity is one of your triggers I highly suggest you give these a try for a few weeks. And i hope they will be the life saver for you that they have been for me!PS Im buying a second pair because I can't stand the thought of getting stuck someplace without them. For the price, I'm incredibly disappointed. The frames are cheap, light and flimsy, they come with no nose pads so the slick plastic slides down constantly, and the lenses themselves are smudging non stop. I've tried multiple methods of cleaning including dry wiping, cleaning with solution and even dish soap, along with both microfiber and cloth towels, nothing works. They smudge horribly and it's not worth the effort to try and keep them clean.
